Coleraine have drawn level on points with Crusaders at the top of the Danske Bank Premiership after a 2-1 victory against Cliftonville at the Showgrounds on Saturday.

The Crues were held to a 1-1 draw by Glenavon with Andrew Mitchell netting the visitors' equaliser 15 minutes from time.

Crusaders go into the final three matches top of the table on goal difference. They host Linfield next weekend - Coleraine also have home advantage in their derby match against Ballymena. 

The Blues and Sky Blues met on Saturday with Linfield beating Ballymena 2-0 at Windsor Park to move two points above Glenavon into third place.

In Section B, Glentoran were 4-1 winners against Ards in Bangor. Dylan Davidson hit two penalties for Ronnie McFall's men. 

Meanwhile, basement side Ballinamallard closed the gap on relegation rivals Carrick to just two points.

The Mallards had a 2-0 home win over Warrenpoint while Carrick lost by the same scoreline at Dungannon Swifts, whose manager Rodney McAree has signed a new three-year deal.
