The DJ and podcaster Fat Tony has said he was left with facial injuries after an incident at a gig in Margate.
Fat Tony, real name Anthony Marnoch, was performing at Lido Margate on Friday night when the incident occurred.
In a video shared on Instagram, the 59-year-old DJ said he was "absolutely gutted" to tell fans he had to cancel his Saturday show at London venue No90 Hackney Wick and would "make it up to you all in the new year".
Marnoch wrote that he was "under doctors' orders" to "rest and get better", and he would be "OK" and is "on the mend".
Kent Police said it is investigating reports of a man assaulting another man in his 50s at Lido between 1.15am and 1.37am on Saturday morning.
"Patrols and paramedics attended the scene and the victim was treated for facial injuries," said a police spokesperson.
"He subsequently went to hospital for further medical attention."
On Sunday, Marnoch gave an update on his condition, telling followers he was in "a lot of pain and [his face is] swollen".
