Lucinda Strafford and Zac Nunns have split up.

The former 'Love Island' star - who took part in series seven of the ITV2 dating show - hooked up with 25-year-old Zac when they took part in 'Love Island Australia' last year, on which they finished as runners up, but they have now gone their separate ways.

Zac wrote on Instagram: "Hey guys, just thought I'd let you know that Lucinda and I have decided to go our separate ways.

"I'm not feeling too good about the situation and appreciate all the support so far."

In October, Lucinda, 24, confirmed she was to take part in 'Love Island Australia'.

A message on her Instagram account read: "Lucinda is looking for love in the @LoveIslandAU Villa! Stream the new season of #LoveIslandAU from Monday October 30 on @9now.

UK viewers will be able to see the star on 'Love Island Australia' on ITVBe and ITVX later in the year, after the show initially airs on Australia's Channel9 from October 30 (sic)”

Lucinda became the first 'Love Island UK' star to appear on the Australian version of the series, after former 'Love Island Australia' stars and Australian natives, Jessie Wynter and Aaron Waters, headed into the 'Love Island UK' Cape Town villa for last year's winter series.

During her time in the UK series, Lucinda grew close to Brad McClelland and then Aaron Francis, but failed to find love.

A source previously told The Sun newspaper: “Lucinda is a bona fide Love Island legend so everyone’s really excited for even more viewers to enjoy her special brand of ditzy banter - who can forget her ‘realllyyyy?’ catchphrase?

“She’s so gorgeous, she was a real hit with the lads in the Majorca villa, so no doubt Lucinda will have the Aussie lads’ head spinning too.

“Of course people all around the world watch the global versions of ‘Love Island’ so it’s likely the cast will know exactly who she is - and know she knows how to play the game - which always ruffles feathers.

“Lucinda is so excited to get grafting.”
