It happened on Westland Street in the early hours of this morning
A 28 year-old man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery of a shop in Derry/Londonderry.
It reportedly happened on Westland Street at around 1:45 this morning.
A masked man is believed to have been armed with a knife and hammer before threatening staff and making off with a sum of cash.
He was arrested a short time later on suspicion of robbery and possession of an offensive weapon.
