Cookstown will be Looking Good, Tasting Great next month as the Continental Market comes to town.

It'll run from Friday 2 to Sunday 4 September.

The event will feature over 40 traders from as far afield as Morocco, India, Russia and China, Stalls will be set up on William Street, alongside local traders from the weekly street market on James Street.

Traders are relishing the chance to return to Cookstown, especially in 2016, the NI Year of Food and Drink, and many speciality stalls will provide shoppers with tasty treats and mouth-watering meals.

There'll be a full programme of entertainment throughout the weekend. Children’s activities and cooking demonstrations will take place on Saturday from 11am-5pm and Sunday 1-5pm, with musical entertainment happening on Friday and Saturday from 5pm-7pm and Sunday from 1-5pm.

The opening hours for the Continental Market are Friday and Saturday 9am-8pm, and Sunday 1pm-5pm - and as in previous years, the market will be conveniently located at William Street, Cookstown.

A road closure will be in operation from 8pm on Thursday 1 September, until 7pm on Sunday 4 September.

The road closure will be in place from the Orritor Street/Coagh Street junction to the Burn Road/James Street junction.
