Lisnagelvin Primary School has set up its own 'Lockdown Challenge' to raise money for Altnagelvin Hospital.
The school in Derry./Londonderry was inspired to start fundraising after seeing the nationwide 2.6 challenge after the London Marathon was cancelled.
Parents, pupils, staff and even the Board of Governors have got involved to help raise money during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Principal Colin Torrens said, "Participants have set their own challenge, with ideas ranging from walking 26 miles, to cycling 26 laps of the house or even popping 26 bubbles!"
"However weird or wonderful, there is a challenge for everyone and every age."

A number of the pupils have parents who are key workers as the school is less than a mile away from Altnagelvin Hospital.
An initial target of £600 was set, but the school has now raised over £1000 for their local hospital.
