The DUP has ruled out any return to Stormont in the near future after speculation that a deal was about to be done.
In a statement issued this afternoon (Sat) the party described media reports to the contrary as ill-informed and totally inaccurate.
The Democratic Unionists and Sinn Fein have been at loggerheads on a number of issues including establishing an Irish Langauge Act.
There has been criticism of local MLA's still being paid while the Stormont Assembly remains suspended.
The party says they remain committed to reaching an agreement but much more work is necessary.
