
A car was on fire after colliding with a van on the Straid Road this morning with the road being closed following the incident
The two vehicle road traffic collision at the Straid Road, Ballycastle area this morning was reported to the Fire Service shortly after 9am. They were then finished at the scene at 9:50am
Fire Appliances from Ballycastle and one from Coleraine Fire Station were deployed to the scene. The collision involved a car and a van, with the car ending up on fire after the incident.
Straid Road, Ballycastle, closed due to 2-vehicle RTC. Diversions in place via Whitepark Road. 3 injured, not believed life-threatening.

Firefighters extinguished the car, while one man from the car and two men from the van were treated at the scene by the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. All three men were taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police closed the road with diversions in place via Whitepark Road.
