Police are investigating a possible case of fraud following reports of a man collecting money in Glengormley last week.
He claimed the funds were for a school for children with hearing difficulties.
It's understood he was carrying a letter and passport at the time last Wednesday.
A spokesperson for the PSNI asked anyone who came across the man, or who has CCTV footage of him, to get in touch.
