Local people in Ballycastle have said they're going to continue lobbying for a new footpath to be built on the Leyland Road.
The current path doesn't reach the junction at the end of the road, forcing pedestrians to walk on the street instead.
Public representatives and residents have been campaigning to have this footpath provision completed for over ten years now.
To mark this and to reach out to the Department for Infrastructure Roads, a white line protest was held at the weekend.

It's understood local MLA, Phillip McGuigan has been in correspondence with the Permanent Secretary of the Department for Infrastructure regarding the matter and has requested a meeting with the Northern Division of the Department.
