A man has been arrested after attacks on the homes of two senior Sinn Fein members in west Belfast.
Former party president, Gerry Adams and Bobby Storey, had explosive devices thrown at their properties on Friday night.
A 35 year -old was detained during a number of searches in the city last night.
He's being questioned on suspicion of criminal damage.
Police say the devices used were large industrial firework type explosives which could have caused serious injury.
Mr.Adams has challenged those behind the attacks to meet with him and explain their rationale.
The PSNI is yet to publicly attribute responsibility for the attack, but Sinn Fein president Mary Lou McDonald has blamed dissident republicans, saying police share that asessment.
No-one was injured in the attacks, though a car in Mr.Adams' driveway was damaged.
Other Sinn Fein members are reviewing their security in the wake of the attacks.
Hundreds of people attended a rally in west Belfast on Monday evening to demonstrate support for Mr Adams and Mr Storey.
