Staff and patients have returned to Omagh Hospital and Primary Care Complex after being evacuated due to a minor chemical leak.
Fire Crews were called to the scene shortly before 10.30 this morning.
It’s understood the leak came from the plant room in the hospital and led to the partial evacuation of the hospital.

No- one was injured during the incident but the western trust says a small number of people are being assessed by the ambulance service as a precaution.

Six appliances are attending the incident at Omagh hospital which has been partially evacuated. The cause of the smell has been identified as a small chemical leak in the plant room. This leak has been isolated and 4 people are currently being assessed by medics at the scene.
