A property has been badly smoke damaged after being targeted in Rasharkin.
A firework exploded at the door of the house in the Carnfintan Park area in the early hours of this morning.
No one was injured during the incident.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police are investigating a report of suspicious activity following an incident at a property in the Carnfintan Park area of Rasharkin in the early hours of this morning, Sunday April 18th.

"Police received a report of attempted criminal damage at approximately 3am after a firework exploded at the door of a house resulting in excess smoke damage.
"Police and the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service attended.
"There are no reports of any injuries."
Inspector Mullan added: "We are appealing for anyone who might have information which may assist the investigation to contact police on the non- emergency 101number quoting 340 of the 18/04/21."
