Pro-choice campaigners here say they won't rest until they see reform in abortion law right across Ireland.
Hundreds turned out at Belfast's City Hall on Monday evening to demand the decriminalisation of terminations in Northern Ireland.
It follows the historic liberalising of the legislation in the Republic, with a two-thirds majority vote to repeal the Eighth Amendment.
Organiser Fiona Ferguson's told Q Radio that result has given people here a real boost.
Meanwhile Stephanie Lord, from 'Together For Yes' in Drogheda says cross-border unity is very strong.
She was one of a number of people who travelled from south of the border to be at the rally.
Others came from Dublin and Donegal to be in attendance as people of all backgrounds and ages made their voices heard on the issue.
