In motorsport, Dungannon’s Kris Meeke's nightmare start to the 2017 World Rally Championship season continued on Saturday evening.
He was ruled out of the Monte Carlo Rally following an open road crash.
His vehicle was hit by another car and the wheel was damaged.
Meeke had shown good pace early in the rally before retiring from the opening day’s running with a broken suspension.
The crash on the road ended the whole event.
