The sides met at the Oval last night in a re-arranged fixture
Glentoran caretaker manager Roy Coyle has praised his players after they battled back to grab a 2-all draw with Glenavon in last night's Premiership clash at the Oval.
Substitute Steven Gordon struck two minutes from time to secure a share of the spoils for the east Belfast side.
Coyle says the performance was a big improvement from his first match back in charge, a defeat at the weekend.
Jonathan Smith put the Glens in front after 20 minutes, but Eoin Bradley equalised before the break.
Glenavon had then appeared set for victory when they took a 2-1 lead thanks to a brilliant lob from Joel Cooper.
The Lurgan Blues move up one place to fifth in the table while Glentoran remain ninth.
Glens striker Nacho Novo went off early on with a groin injury and it's not yet known how long he'll be out of action.
