Ireland have their first win of this year's 6 Nations after beating Italy 63-10 in Rome.

Joe Schmidt's men started with intent, with an early Keith Earls try in the twelfth minute.

CJ Stander joined him on the scoreboard, before Earls added a second, all before the half-hour mark.

Stander's brace, and a perfect kicking success rate from Paddy Jackson meant the visitors lead 28-10 at half time.

The Munster flanker then got a hat-trick early in the second-half, before Ulster's Craig Gilroy got three of his own, coming on as a substitute for Robbie Henshaw.

Garry Ringrose also got his name on the scoresheet, helping Ireland to the top of the tournament leaderboard with 6 points.

CJ Stander was named man-of-the-match.

Next up is a home tie with France in a fortnight's time.
