Linfield maintained their nine-point cushion at the top of the Danske Bank Premiership on Tuesday night with a 1-0 victory away to Newry City.

But the Blues needed a dramatic injury time header from captain for the night, defender Chris Casement, to clinch their 10th league win on the bounce...

Newry manager Darren Mullen says if his players keep up performances like that they'll beat the drop...

Also on Tuesday night, second-placed Ballymena had a 2-1 home win over Cliftonville.

And Glentoran beat Warrenpoint Town 3-1 at the Oval with Darren Murray scoring twice against his old club for the second time this month.

Point's Lee Duffy was sent off when the scoring had finished.

The Glens move up to eighth in the table.
