Glenavon moved six points clear in third place in the Danske Bank Premiership on Tuesday night by thrashing Ards 6-1 in Bangor.

Andrew Mitchell and Stephen Murray both scored twice for the Lurgan Blues.

Glentoran go above Ballymena into the top six after a last-gasp goal from Marcus Kane gave them a 2-1 victory at Carrick.

Robbie McDaid grabbed the first goal for the visitors - former Glens striker Darren Henderson equalised but then missed a penalty.

Barry Gray's Cliftonville beat his old team Warrenpoint Town 3-1 at the Q Radio Arena and are now level on points with Linfield in fourth place.

One of the north Belfast side's scorers was former Point midfielder, January signing Conor McDonald, who says he's loving it at Solitude...

The 22-year-old is relishing working with Gray again and he's hoping for a big finish to the season...
