Stephen Martin was also at the helm for the 2014 tournament in Sochi
Olympic Council of Ireland Chief Executive Stephen Martin has been appointed to lead the team at the 2018 Winter Games.
They'll take place in South Korea, with the previous edition having taken place in Sochi 2014 where he was also at the helm.
Martin is a double Olympic medallist, originally from County Down.
He took to social media to express his delight.

The games will run from February 9 to February 25, 2018.
