Q Radio Sport

The Northern Ireland women's football team have finished their World Cup qualifiers with a defeat.

Alfie Wylie's girls lost 1-0 against Slovakia at Shamrock Park and finish bottom of the group on goal difference.

However, it was a night to remember for defender Julie Nelson who became the first Northern Ireland woman to win 100 international caps.

And she was a whisker away from celebrating with what would have been a dream free-kick goal to level the match...

Family and friends were out in force to cheer Julie on.

Among those singing her praises was proud dad, Willie Nelson....

The action resumes on Wednesday night in the Danske Bank Women's Premiership.

Cliftonville face Derry City at the Brandywell and Sion Swifts welcome Portadown.
