A man who drunkenly changed his name to Celine Dion is planning to keep it.

Celine, formerly known as Thomas Todd, decided to change his name after getting merry when watching one of the singer's concerts over Christmas, and admits that he has no plans to change it back.

Celine said: "I have no desire to change it again - I'm 100 per cent committed. That is until I next have a bit too much to drink."

He previously revealed that he is "slightly obsessed" with the 'My Heart Will Go On' singer and hopes that the name can give her backstage access to one of her concerts.

Celine told Birmingham Live: "I am slightly obsessed with her, I'm not going to lie.

"During lockdown I've been watching a lot of live concerts on the TV. I can only think I've been watching one of hers and had a 'great idea' after a few drinks.

"Now I'm thinking it could be a great way to get backstage."
