An Armagh man's been charged and fined five thousand pounds for waste offences.
Fifty-three year-old Bernard Hughes from Crossmaglen was given a four month sentence suspended for four years.
He was charged with keeping controlled waste without an exemption or licence.
It follows a site inspection at Cullaville Road by the Environment Agency two years ago.
Newry Magistrates heard yesterday that vehicle batteries, tyres, and scrap vehicles were among the waste found.
