A sum of cash was stolen from a premises in north Belfast by a man armed with a knife yesterday evening.
Police say that the incident took place shortly before nine in a shop in the Alexander Park Avenue area when he demanded money from staff.
Staff members and a young customer were left badly shaken, but otherwise unharmed.
The man is described as being in his 30s, 5'11, of a slim build and as wearing a black hooded jumper, black tracksuit bottoms and blue mask.
Police say enquiries are continuing and that they are appealing to anyone with any information in relation to the incident to contact detectives in Musgrave on 101, quoting reference number CW 1849 of 27/01/22.
