Gardaí have carried out searches in County Offaly and Dublin as part of their investigation into the murder of Ashling Murphy.
The 23-year-old primary school teacher was attacked and killed on the banks of the Grand Canal in Tullamore on Wednesday afternoon.
Officers are also waiting to interview a new suspect who is currently in hospital.
More vigils will be held on Saturday in memory of Ashling after events took place across the island of Ireland on Friday.
