A man in his 50's has died following a house fire in East Belfast.
It happened at a property in Clarawood Park at around 7.30 last night.
Emergency services attended the scene but the man couldn't be saved.
Police say an investigation into the cause of the fire is now underway however it's not being treated as suspicious.
A PSNI statement said, "Police can confirm that a man, aged in his 50s, has died as a result of a fire in a house in Clarawood Park in east Belfast yesterday evening, Saturday 28 December."
"Police received a report of a fire at a house shortly after 7.30pm."
"An investigation into the cause of the fire, which is not being treated as suspicious, has now commenced."
