A 40 year old man has been extradited from Northern Ireland to Austria.
The suspect is set to face charges relating to a serious sexual assault in 2000.
He was first arrested in Newtownards back in September under a European warrant.
he was released on remand until his extradition last night.
A date for the man's trial in Austria has yet to be set .
