Derry City FC took to social media today to share the news of their new football kit deal with Adidas.

The change for a new kit and leisurewear with Adidas will be for the next three years.
The globally known 'three stripes' kits are worn by the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, and from 2018, Derry City will be joining them.
'The GAA store' also announced on twitter today that they will be stocking the new candystripe kits and loungewear.

Design works are already underway with the club and they're expecting to launch an extensive range of leisure and playing wear ahead of the Christmas period.

Derry City Chairman, Philip O'Doherty said:

"We've been in negotiations with a number of leading brands and we believe that this partnership is an exciting development for both sides.
