Larne have won their first senior trophy since 1987 by beating Glentoran 4-3 on penalties to lift the Toals County Antrim Shield.
Wednesday night's final at Seaview ended scoreless after a bruising battle in blustery conditions on the Shore Road.
Glens boss Mick McDermott had threatened to withdraw over arrangements for the match and made eight changes to the team that had beaten Dungannon 5-1 last Saturday.
There was little between the sides in the final and few clear-cut chances.
In the closing stages, Glens players made strong appeals for a penalty after a handball by Inver defender Albert Watson. It was right in front of referee Keith Kennedy, but he waved away the protests.
The game eventually ended scoreless and went straight to a shoot-out with no extra-time.

He's moving next month to a new job with his former employers, the Irish FA.
