Zayn Malik wants to collaborate with Miley Cyrus.

The former One Direction star is a big stan of the 'Flowers' hitmaker's recent output and thinks they could make some magic together in the studio.

In a recent chat with fans on Stationhead, he said: “I’d like to do a collaboration with [Miley Cyrus].

“I like her recent music a lot. She’s got a sick voice."

The 'Better' singer teased that his upcoming fourth studio album, ‘Room Under the Stairs’, is in a style that would compliment the 'Used to Be Young' singer's sound.

He added: “I think we could do something really cool together, especially in line with what my new record sounds like."

Speaking directly to the 'Midnight Sky' hitmaker, he said: “Miley, if you hear this, and you’re interested, I’m here. Let’s do something.”

The 31-year-old star also revealed that he's been revisiting One Direction's music recently and looked back fondly on the "good times" he shared with Harry Styles, Niall Horan, and Liam Payne, all 30, and Louis Tomlinson, 32.

He said: "I've been listening to a bit of One Direction music recently, reminiscing. "Good times.

"We made some good music as a band.

"We were pretty good."

The 'Story of My Life' hitmakers became a four-piece when Zayn quit in 2015, before going on hiatus themselves the year after.

They have each launched solo careers.
