An engagement ring and wedding band have been stolen during a burglary in Ballynahinch.

It happened at a house in the Kinedale Park area sometime between 7 and 9 last night.

The victim was an older lady, and the jewellery stolen is of great sentimental value to her.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
