A thirty-two year-old man charged with attempted murder is due before Newry Court via videolink this morning.
It's after a thirty-one year-old man was attacked by two men in Newry's Monaghan Street.
The charges date back to an incident on St Patrick's day in 2012.
Nial Shabani was remanded in custody at Maghaberry after appearing at Armagh court yesterday.
