The NIFL Europa League play-off semi-finals are being staged tonight.

Cliftonville are at home to Glenavon.

Fans are being asked to take part in a minute's applause in the third minute of the match in memory of former Lurgan Blues left-back Tony Scappaticci who died last week.

In the other game this evening Ballymena face Dungannon Swifts at the Showgrounds.

Both games kick-off at 7.45pm with the play-off final to be played on Friday night.

Linfield manager David Healy is set to strengthen his squad after winning the league and cup double.

The Blues beat Coleraine 3-0 in the Tennent's Irish Cup final on Saturday.

Healy has confirmed a contract extension until 2020.

Waterworth's treble was the first in an Irish Cup final since 1969.

31-year-old Waterworth's two hat-tricks in the last two weeks bring his goal tally for the season to 30.

Meanwhile, Coleraine boss Oran Kearney is calling for his players to go again and win the cup next time.

Team captain on Saturday David Ogilby says he hopes the defeat will inspire young players at the club to bigger and better things in years to come.

The Bannsiders have confirmed Scottish striker Jordan Allan will be leaving the club after his short-term contract expired.

Record scorer Jordan Owens has signed a two-year contract extension with Crusaders but midfielder Richard Clarke is leaving the Danske Bank Premiership runners-up and defender Alan Keane has retired.

Former Dungannon, Glentoran, Portadown, Glenavon and Ballinamallard midfielder Shane McCabe is also hanging up his boots.
