Ballymena keeper Ross Glendinning feels the visitors should have taken all three points.
Glentoran remain in the top six, with David Jeffrey's team two places and seven points behind them.
Ross says there were positives from the performance.
The Braidmen are in action again on Friday night, facing Glendinning's former team Linfield at the Showgrounds.
Meanwhile, the Glens' home game against Glenavon, postponed this Saturday due to international call-ups, has been rearranged for next Tuesday.
Boss Haveron says he welcomes the extra few days to prepare.
