After several days of reflection on their narrow 23-22 defeat to the Highlanders, the British and Irish Lions have recorded a resounding victory over the Maori All Blacks.
In the past, this fixture has been described as the unofficial fourth test, due to its intensity.
The Lions had a slender 12-10 lead at the interval, but increased the pressure in the second half.
Wales fullback Leigh Halfpenny was busy with the boot, with 6 penalties and a conversion, while there was a penalty try, and one for Maro Itoje.

The timing of the win is significant, with just a week until Warren Gatland's men take on the All Blacks in the first test at Eden Park in Auckland, after facing the chiefs midweek.
