The McKenna Cup campaign got off to a start yesterday (Sunday).

Fermanagh lost to Monaghan 1:13 to 15 points.

And Tyrone failed to overcome Cavan at Breffni Park in first round. The score there was 1:13 to 12 points.

A new look Derry meanwhile secured a win over Armagh at Owenbeg – 3:10 to 2:11.
