St. Ciaran's Ballygawley took on John the Baptist school, from Limerick on Friday in the schools Under 20 Lidl All-Ireland Final.
According to their teacher and manager Celina O'Gouse, the girls were confident going in to the game and felt they had prepared themselves well for the final.
Unfortunately, they fell short of the title this year.
The game ended with a final score 2-6 to 0-8.
Either way, St.Ciaran's showed support for their girls and are proud of them either way.
Although the girl's were unfortunate, St.Ciaran's boys will be hoping to bring home the All-Ireland title.
They play Mayo's Ballinrobe Community School this Saturday in Croke Park for the Senior B All-Ireland final.
St.Ciaran's also won the McLarnon Cup for the first time on St.Patrick's day.
